Lutheran History Video
In 1999, Concordia Historical Institute recognized
Bill's 12-part documentary entitled “Into the
World…To the End of the Age" with a special award
“as a significant contribution to the Lutheran
Archives and History In America."
Training
Notable other awards include an Amoco project
written by Bill, which was honored as the 1996
Project of the Year by Maritz Performance
Improvement Company.
Direct Marketing
In 1995, direct mail programs for Flavorite and
national trade ads for FMC Corporation written by
Bill were honored with regional and national awards
for excellence. In 1994, he wrote the direct
marketing campaign for Arcadian Corporation. The
campaign earned the ECHO award as best of show at
the Direct Marketing Association International
Awards.
Presentation
In 1992, he wrote the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
St. Louis District, nomination presentation for the
1992 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement
Award. The presentation about the Mississippi
Bendway Weirs project was recognized with the
Department of Army Commanders Award for Public
Service.
Recognition By Peers
Also in 1992, colleagues at Maritz Performance
Improvement Company recognized Bill with a special
award for his contribution to the design and
development of a video training program for IBM. He
wrote the training manual and videos and directed
the video.
Television Commercials
Bill's television commercials have won awards and
award nominations in the Emmy, Flair, Telly, Lulu
and NY Festival competitions.
